Last Friday, November 14th, we went on an excursion to ARQUA. It was organized by the teachers Mari Carmen Villa and Antonio Laencina.

We left our secondary school at 9 o'clock and headed for The Marine Archaeology Museum, located in the Paseo del Muelle Alfonso XIII, in Cartagena.

There were two guides at the museum. They showed and explained us everything about the museum in English. They spoke loudly and clearly, so we could understand them. They acted as if they were scientists.

They showed us: the job of scientists, ancient ships and part of the treasure of Nuestra Señora de las Mercedes.

Finally, we went back to school at about 12, in time for the second school break.

It was not a very long trip, but we enjoyed it a lot.
